Privacy Policy

Dealerific ("we", "us") cares about your privacy. This Policy explains what data we collect when you visit dealerific.com or subscribe to our email digest, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.

TL;DR

• The only personal data we collect is your email address, and only if you give it to us.
• We never sell, rent, or share your email with third parties.
• We log clicks on outbound affiliate links (anonymized — no PII).
• You can unsubscribe with one click in every email.
• You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

1. What we collect

a) Email subscribers

When you subscribe to our daily digest or a lead-magnet email sequence, we store:

• Your email address
• The signup form you used (UTM source/medium)
• Which tags apply (e.g., shopper, affiliate, newsletter operator)
• Which magnet sequence (if any) you opted into
• Timestamps for signup, last digest sent, and unsubscribe

b) Click logs

When you click an outbound affiliate or partner link, we record:

• The deal or brand you clicked
• The merchant's host
• A one-way cryptographic hash of your IP — no reverse lookup possible
• Approximate country (derived from IP at request time)
• User agent (browser + OS string)
• Referring page on our site

We do not store your raw IP address. The hash rotates daily, so the same person browsing two days in a row is recorded as two different anonymous visitors.

c) Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard server request logs for operational reasons. These logs auto-rotate per the provider's retention policy and contain no personal information beyond what is described in (b) above.

d) Cookies

We use a minimal set of functional cookies needed to keep you signed in to the dashboard (if you have a partner account). We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or session recorders.

2. What we do with your data

• Send you the daily digest you subscribed to
• Deliver the lead-magnet email sequence you opted into
• Aggregate click data to tell our affiliate partners how many of their products are getting traffic
• Improve which deals we surface (e.g., if a category gets zero clicks, we deprioritize it)

3. What we don't do

• Sell or rent your email address to anyone
• Share your email address with affiliate partners (only aggregated click counts)
• Use third-party advertising or retargeting pixels
• Cross-reference your activity with other sites
• Run session-replay tools that record your screen

4. Service providers

We rely on third-party service providers to operate Dealerific. Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its service to us, under contractual data-processing terms and its own published privacy policy. Categories of provider:

• Hosting provider — serves the site and delivers pages to your browser.
• Database provider — stores subscriber records and anonymized click data.
• Email marketing provider — delivers the daily digest and lead-magnet emails you subscribe to.
• Newsletter platform integration — optional mirror of the subscriber list for any manual broadcasts.
• Newsletter recommendation network— optional post-signup recommendations of other newsletters we think you'd like.

We can disclose the specific provider name in each category on written request — email hello@dealerific.com and we'll reply within 30 days.

5. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data (we will purge your subscriber row + remove click logs that referenced you)
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of all marketing emails via the one-click unsubscribe link

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@dealerific.com from the address on file. We will respond within 30 days.

For EU / UK residents (GDPR)

Our legal basis for processing your email is your consent (given when you subscribed), which you can withdraw at any time. Our legal basis for click-log processing is legitimate interest in measuring affiliate-link engagement. You can object to either at any time by emailing us.

For California residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Same email address as above for any CCPA-specific request.

6. Children

Dealerific is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has subscribed, email us and we will delete the data immediately.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Database access is restricted to authenticated, audited connections. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; if we ever experience a breach affecting your data we will notify you promptly.

8. Data retention

We keep subscriber data for as long as you remain subscribed. After unsubscribe, we retain only the unsubscribed flag + hashed-token (so we don't accidentally re-add you) and purge the rest within 60 days. Click logs auto-purge after 24 months.

9. International transfers

Our service providers operate in the United States. By subscribing, you consent to transfer of your data to the United States.

10. Changes to this Policy

Material changes will be announced via the daily digest and a notice on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
